Project description

Supervise and market an annual "NexGenFriends Community Outreach Volunteer Day," to be officially launched in the summer of 2018. It would take place at the Kennedy Center or another performing arts venue in the area, and would involve collaboration with several other young professional volunteer groups supporting DC-area performing arts venues.

Develop a dedicated expansion site tour as an extension of the official Kennedy Center tour, to include architectural dynamics, use of the space and the grounds, and interesting facts about the construction. There would also be a virtual version of this tour on the Center's website.

Cultivate strategies to promote "Tours For Young People program" to D.C. school system as well as educate and engage teachers about the program.
