NSO Artistic Planning Intern

The NSO Artistic Planning team programs the NSO's performance season and manages the experience of every guest artist appearing with the NSO. We are looking for a committed individual who is excited to assist world-class musicians from a variety of countries, backgrounds, and musical genres. Our ideal intern is detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, and feels at home in a fast-paced work environment.

Intern will: create and distribute weekly artist itineraries, driving schedules, transportation schedules, and other documents used throughout concert production. Intern will: be available to guest artists during rehearsals and performances, acting as first point of contact for artist needs. Includes dressing room setup/tear down, hospitality shopping, calling artist to stage for rehearsal and/or performance, and other misc. errands. Once trained, intern will assist with rehearsal coverage each week and will work at least 2 concerts per month, to be agreed in advance with intern supervisor. Intern will: create, send, and monitor execution of all NSO chamber contracts, including performances at Millennium Stage, Terrace Theater, and Mount Vernon. Other administrative tasks as assigned.
