International Programming Intern

The International Programming department curates and produces major multidisciplinary international festivals and innovative programs, presenting on our stages the diverse cultural heritage of the American people and allowing the American audiences to experience first-hand performances from cultures across the globe.

In addition to administrative duties as assigned, International Programming Intern will contribute to the following projects during their internship experience:

Placement Project A: Planning of presentations by International companies. Intern will develop analytical and organizational skills, deeper learning on shaping and executing a program with multicultural aspects.

Placement Project B: Responsibilities in presenting international performances during our Lunar New Year and Ingmar Bergman celebrations. Intern will gain understanding of the multiple aspects of presenting an international event by providing logistics support during pre-production and participating hands on with artists management. Performances will include artists from China, Holland and Sweden (theater companies, orchestra, pop music, crafts and activities for kids and families).
