IT Telecomm, Infrastructure, and Support Intern

Department description

The Information Technology department supports all departments in the Kennedy Center by providing systems and technology to support all areas of the operations. The Data & Analytics team in particular supports the tools and data that is provided to Marketing, Development, Education, Finance and many other departments to allow them to make data-driven decisions. We analyze, clean, and prepare data for a very wide variety of projects and are leveraging tools such as Tableau, SSRS, R, and more to support self-service analytics to our data analysts.

Project description

The intern will participate in Service Desk and Telecomm projects, inventory management, scripting, remote configuration and deployment of systems, will work with the Telecomm team to configure and rollout equipment.

The candidate will be exposed to KACE, Skype for Business, Active Directory, Office 365 administration, and how all of these systems impact the mission of a performing arts center of international renown.

Intern projects will be related to the following areas:
- IT Event Coordination
- IT Event Setup Production - (IT Theater setup for touring companies)
- Active Directory configuration
- Active Directory implementation and auditing
- Physical inventory management
- PC configuration and administration
